EGCS discharge water sampling and analysis campaign
Safe Bulkers, Inc. together with its management companies, responding to the 2020 global sulphur limit has undertaken a series of wash water sample analysis from exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS), or scrubbers, during the period from 2020 – 2023 in cooperation with the Cyprus flag. ABS acts as an independent organisation for report preparation. The results are shown below for each specific vessel:
